Can anyone recommend divorce attorneys in Miami?
Don't have any family or friends here; just moved in from NY, six months ago, after separating from my husband. Have with me two children, after having a provisional custody granted.
But, my ex wants to challenge that. That's why I need to engage a good lawyer... that won't cost me big money, which I don't have.
Have made some enquiries, based on the Yellow Pages listings. But, nobody will offer me a free initial consultation, and their fees start from $120 per 30 min. It's a lot of money when you're a single parent of two teenagers.
Anyway, don't want to risk paying a lawyer that won't do his job honestly, and will try to maximize his fees. If you've any experience with an honest lawyer, whose charges are reasonable, let me know.
